Road Maintenance May Cause Delays on Kent’s Lake Road

Road Maintenance May Cause Delays on Kent’s Lake Road

Beaver, Utah, June 2, 2016– Fishlake National Forest and Beaver County will be performing maintenance on Kent’s Lake Road (Forest Service Road #137), from the end of the pavement near Little Reservoir to Upper Kent’s Lake. The project is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete.

The project is scheduled to start Monday, June 6 with crews preparing the road for an application of Magnesium Chloride, which will occur on Thursday, June 16. Mag Chloride is used to reduce dust and erosion on gravel and native surfaced roads.

Any traffic delays will occur during week days.

If you have any questions about this project, please contact the Beaver Ranger District at 435 438-2436.

As a reminder, as the snow melts, roads become slick and muddy. Don’t get yourself stuck, know before you go
