Weekly Fishing Report for Minersville Reservoir

"A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work".

The water temp. is around 62-65 deg. this past week. The water level is still going up a little, as more water is running in than is going out.

The "smallies" are on their nests, guarding the eggs. The trout are scattered throughout the lake, so fishing from the bank has been poor. There has not been much sign of wipers this past week.

There has been a good trout bite for the tubers and boat trollers, with the best luck earlier in the morning. One boat, trolling Rattle-traps bass lures, caught some great trout. Most were in the 18-21 inch range. Float tubers fishing early, and out in the lake, have been doing good catching some great trout.
