Bruce Brown is the Beaver County recorder. You can find him in his distinctive office on the first floor of the County Administration Building. This office has records dating back to 1878; prior records were destroyed in a fire. Here you can:
- Do property searches
- File mining claims
- Get assistance in finding ownership of a particular property
- Obtain copies of county plat maps
- Obtain information on water rights
- Record deeds
Cindy Peterson is the deputy recorder. She doubles as office support for the Building Department. To do property searches you have to come into the recorder’s office; our records are not online.
The Recorders Office does not accept Recordings after 3:30 pm on the last working day of the month so they can balance their books.
